- I have to ask: Is this a problem, that the modem doesn't get blown
- away by a call waiting signal?

- I guess the more pertinent question is: What kind of data throughput
- reduction are you experiencing as a result of this incoming
- call-waiting signal? Seems to me that your modem is noting the
- interruption, going into retrain and then continuing to communicate
- once the interruption has passed.
